Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (also known as Confession or Penance) expresses God’s desire to be in a “Holy Communion” with His people. It celebrates the presence of God in areas of our lives that need conversion. Individual confession with a priest is the principal means of absolution and reconciliation of grave sins within the Church. Reconciliation heals our sins and repairs our relationships. In reconciling us to God, it is a great source of grace, and Catholics are encouraged to take advantage of it often. You may request confession by contacting the church office at (585) 325-3893. During Lent & Advent, there are increased opportunities for Reconciliation.
